Giving

Did you know that it costs more than £180 per day to run All Saints' Church?

A vital part of belonging is helping to ‘pay the bills’. Making a regular financial contribution to the work of the church is not only biblical but a very practical way of standing shoulder to shoulder with the whole church and demonstrating your commitment and support.

A full financial report, audited accounts and annual budget are published each year and made available at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. The elected PCC scrutinises and authorises expenditure throughout the year.

In addition, 10% of normal parish income is donated to charitable organisations. Occasionally we will also take up special offerings in the event of a disaster or for a specific campaign. These are taken in addition to regular giving.

Visitors to the church are under no obligation to give. We encourage regular members of the church to contribute to the vision of the church and the activities associated with it. There are a number of ways you can give to the work of God through the church:

Giving in Church on Sundays

You can donate in church by cash, by cheque or by card using our cardreader.

If you would like All Saints Grayswood, to claim Gift Aid then for

  • Cash/Cheque donations: please place the cash/cheque in either  in a completed yellow (one-off) envelope or your purple (regular) envelope.
  • Card donations : we need to identify your donation - please use your regular purple envelope or complete a one off yellow envelope. Please mark the envelope "By Card", add the date and the amount and place the envelope in the offertory bowl

The offertory bowl will be available at the back of church on a Sunday morning for your envelope and cash donations; the card reader is on the table at the back of church for your card donations.
