Flowers

The Flower Team arranges flowers in church throughout the year, except during the penitential seasons of Advent and Lent. All those interested in arranging or helping with flowers in church are welcome.

We all enjoy arranging flowers and have many many reasons for doing so, for some it is contemplation, for some significant memories, joyful anticipation or thankfulness, and for some a personal act of worship.

The Flower Team aims to provide beautiful flowers to support worship, enhance the architecture at All Saints and complement the liturgical vestments reflecting the appropriate seasonal colour.

We enjoying being involved in this aspect of church life, are supportive of each other as a group and aim to provide social contact through a common interest. We help and encourage others to develop and use their artistic talents in arranging flowers.

Whether you attend church or not, your creative talents can be appreciated by congregation and passers-by. Come and join our team of volunteers. The more people like you, the more we share the load and we always have great fun making All Saints look spectacular for Christmas, Easter, Harvest, weddings and festivals. *We supply oasis and floral tape as well as flowers for the festivals (you supply flowers at other times).

Anyone who would like to arrange with us, from complete beginners to those more experienced will be most welcome. Give it a try. Each of us was new to arranging in the early stages.
