High Altar - embroidered panels
On either side of the altar, below the murals of saints, hang embroidered panels depicting the Annunciation (The Gospel of Luke Chapter 1 verse 26 - 38)
The left panel shows Gabriel's visit to Mary, with the archangel encircled by the words "Ave Maria Gratia Plena" - Hail Mary Full of Grace .
The right panel shows Mary kneeling, encircled by the words "Ecce ancilla Domini: fiat mihi secundum verbum tuum" - Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy Word.
