A prayer for King Charles III
Everlasting God, we pray for our new monarch, King Charles.
Bless his reign and the life of our nation.
Help us to work together so that truth and justice, harmony and fairness flourish among us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

A prayer for Ukraine
Loving God,
We pray for the people of Ukraine, for all those suffering or afraid, that you will be close to them and protect them.
We pray for world leaders, for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their choices.
We pray for the world, that in this moment of crisis, we may reach out in solidarity to our sisters and brothers in need. May we walk in your ways, so that peace and justice become a reality for the people of Ukraine and for all the world.

A prayer for the world during pandemic
God of love and hope,
you made the world and care for all your creation.
The news continues to be full of stories about the pandemic.
Some people are worried that they might get ill.
Others are anxious for their family and friends.
Be with each and every one of them and help them to find peace.
We pray for the doctors and nurses and scientists, and all who are working to discover the right medicines to help those who are ill,
and we thank you for all those who have worked so hard to roll out the vaccination programme.
Thank you that even in these anxious times, you are with us.
Help us to put our trust in you and keep us safe.

A prayer following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II
God, Our Father,
all through our country, we are sad at this time, because our Queen is no longer with us.
She will be missed by so very many, but we know that you are looking after her.
Bless those close to her. May they know they are remembered by us.
And bless our country at this time of change.
May we all work together as one family, and be ready to serve others, as our Queen served us.
In Jesus' name we ask it.
