Foam-free Flowers

Two members of our Church flower group recently attended an arranging workshop at St Barts presented by Claire Brown from Flower Passion at
East Clandon. She was passionate about sustainability and demonstrated how to arrange using chicken wire. Oasis is not ecologically
acceptable - it pollutes our waterways and oceans and is not biodegradable. Claire owns a flower farm and also promotes using more locally grown/
British flowers. As part of our eco-church goals, it is our intention to stop using oasis when current supplies are used. At Easter, our font arrangement
all of the window displays were created using chicken wire and upcycled containers. If you would be interested in learning more about
